I am an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and currently stationed in

Hawaii.

The loose stone market here has an amazingly high mark-up, and I

resorted to web searches for my loose stone purchase.

I found a beautiful 2.03 ct stone appraised after purchase for roughly $25,000 ($27,500 with setting)...

I was approached by the gemologist after appraisal to find out where I got the stone and how much I paid.

Bottom line is that I got the stone for less than wholesale ($11,542), and it was easier than I ever expected. If there is any anxiety about purchasing through Diamonds-usa,get over it... You'll be extremely satisfied with both the quality of your purchase and the ease of internet shopping. I made out like a bandit, and my wife is walking around with a ring worth nearly $30,000 I paid less than half for.
