Josephine Skriver’s engagement was even more fantastical than a dream. The Victoria’s Secret Angel got engaged to boyfriend Alexander DeLeon in November this year. For those who were following their romance, the engagement wasn’t so much as a shocker knowing how the two looked all gooey eyed and so-in-love in presence of each other. The two have been captured on camera more than once sharing an intimate moment which if anything, proves the emotional connection between the two. Over a romantic vacation in Finland, DeLeon popped up the question and moments later, the announcement of their engagement came to us.
Alexander and Josephine were enjoying a cozy time together in Finland at the time. The two being very well-connected socially kept sharing cute snaps from their holiday on their social media accounts all the while, and as a grand finale they made a post whereby they declared their engagement to the world. In an exalted 6 words post that captioned her Instagram photo, Josephine wrote: “I SAID HELL-FREAKIN’- YES, I’M ENGAGED”. Under the northern lights, Alexander went down on his one knee, with a gorgeous ring in his hand to make the most romantic proposal of the decade.
Moving on to the ring which is the highlight of the event, It is again a Rose Gold engagement ring, a candid shot of Josephine flashing the ring revealed a gigantic emerald-cut diamond sparkler that is unbelievably beautiful. The massive sparkler is mounted with an emerald-cut center stone that is gorgeously shimmering. As oversize as that is, it is not the only diamond in the ring. Smaller diamonds line the band which is split-band but not of a classic design. The band splits at the shoulders branching out into three threads.
