Heidi Klum’s Charming Engagement Ring, News 157
Saturday, September 14, 2019
Heide Klum got engaged on Monday. The news caught like wildfire on the Internet from the moment the supermodel shared it on Instagram with a candid picture where she posed with her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz with an ornate ring on her fourth finger. Eyes went scanning the title, and sure as day, it was there- “I SAID YES”. Yes, she is officially engaged and is happily flashing her engagement ring all over Instagram. Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum have been public about their relationship for months. Sharing cozy pictures and videos of them together is not new to either of them.
But the news of engagement came as a surprise for the fans because the two have been linked only for 8 months around the time they started seeing each other. As quickly as it happened, the two have appeared publicly countless times looking very happy together. Klum, 45, mom to four- Lou, Leni, Jonah and Henry was previously married to Ric Pipino and Seal. Klum, 29 is a guitarist with the band Tokio Hotel. Although from different backgrounds, the two are members of the entertainment industry and that gives them all the common grounds to bond over.
As for the ring, the picture Klum shared on her Instagram is a black and white one, which gives away little except for the fact that it’s an anti-diamond ring. In the picture, the ring features what appears to be a dark colored center stone. The gem at the center is flanked by two sparkling diamonds that produce a lovely contrast next to the colored gem.
Other details are not apparent except a semblance of a milgrain border around the center stone. While the center stone is clearly an emerald cut, the side stones look round-cut. The band like in most rings these days is very skinny, but as for the metal, we couldn’t take a guess because of the black and white filter. In the picture, Klum is wearing another diamond band on the same finger, but nothing on that ring has yet been uncovered. With a slim band and a sizeable stone, her sparkler is gigantic and exquisite. It is remarkable that Kaulitz chose a gem that is not diamond for the ring, which is perfectly complemented by the design which is a mix of antique and classic.
If you liked her ring and are thinking of getting something similar for your engagement, then you will be happy to know that similar versions are already out in the market. In fact, not only are there rings with dark center stones, but there is a huge variety of such rings with plenty of shape options. You can pick a similar looking ring in both round and square shaped stones. In fact, you can pick your own gemstones and get it fitted into the ring if you have specific gem requirements. With customization, you can bring down the price significantly. So, if you have the option, make use of it to get a royal ring crafted for a surprisingly small price.
