Recently a 2 carat yellow diamond, the size of an English pea was discovered by a person at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. It is the only site where public scouting of diamonds is allowed and people can actually keep their finds with them. The diamond weighing 2.01 carat is described as wedge shaped by the park authorities. According to the park authorities this yellow diamond is the largest and 20th diamond discovered from this park in 2015. The diamond owner now calls it the “Merf Diamond” and plans to sell it in future after being appraised by an expert diamond appraiser.
