September13 is going to be an auspicious day for the jewelry market because theInternational Gem & Jewelry Festival or IGJF will begin on that day. Theinternational show will be held at Hong Kong Central Harbor front Event Space fromSeptember 13-18. This 5 day show will host some of the leading jewelers withtheir diamond and other precious gemstone items and also loose stones. Opalsand pearls are also going to be a part of the show along with diamonds. Theworld will witness some of the finest jewelry items in this show as it directedto create a huge impact in the world jewelry market.
Theorganizers have revealed that over 230 diamond and gemstone traders and jewelryhouses will feature in this show with their latest collections. Around 60% ofthe participants will debut in the Hong Kong Jewelry Festival. This event willbe memorable for another reason as well. This is the first time a show of sucha scale is going to be organized in Hong Kong’s business district. The venue isan outdoor one to accommodate more and more exhibitors. The show will feature 3huge fully air conditioned and furnished marquees housing the booths.
The InternationalGem & Jewelry Festival in Hong Kong will be organized by Hong Kong based InternationalJewelry Event Limited in association with 3 local trade bodies- Hong Kong GemstoneManufacturers Association, Hong Kong Gold & Silver Ornament Workers andMerchants general Union and Hong Kong Pearl Association. From 13thto 17th the show will exhibit loose diamonds and from 17thonwards the exhibition will be dedicated to fine jewelry items.
