The MET Gala or the Costume Institute Gala of New York City is the “fashion’s biggest night out”. The event attracts celebrities in drones who attend the starry event in their best glad rags. The Met Ball, a fashion event since 1946 has received a promotional spurt lately what with actors, models, socialites, writers and eminent figures from all walks of life heavily endorsing fashion as a lifestyle. This year, the event was even bigger with celebrities flocking from all over the world in their swoon-worthy attires and million dollar accessories. This year, we got to lay eyes on some exceptionally brilliant arty baubles in the Met Ball.

Jennifer Lopez is by far one of the best dressed celebs at the gala that night,in that she has left many far behind in the race. The actress and singer turnedup in a flowing cape and gown by Valentino. However, if that sounds a littlemoderate for JLo’s fierce fashion sense, she does go back to it with her suiteof 150 carats Harry Winston ornaments. JLo sported a pair of diamondearrings that night that was flashy as hell, but also the envy of allwomen. The hoop earrings were a vintage pair of 3-row design. Cast in platinum,the earrings lone weighed about 42.54 carats. The vintage danglers predates theera when Lopez rose to popularity. Turns out that the pair has been importedfrom the year 1963. The suite also includes two diamond bracelets and fivestunning rings.

Next in the list is Rihanna. She had jaws dropped at the MET Gala with her veryunique flower dress from Comme Des Garcons. Since her dress was designed on atheme and it gave her a pretty structural look, she didn’t pass on thejewelries. Rihanna glammed up for the fashion night with some high-endjewelries. For the night, she wore two incredibly beautiful rings from Chopard.The songstress’s loyalty for the brand was once again reinstated by her picks.Both the rings were set with rich red rubies and embellished with diamonds.Aside them, the singer also sported a stunning pair of diamond earrings, and tomatch with it, an eye-popping floral lace timepiece that alone carried 31.76carats of diamonds.

Levine is not far behind in thelist with her complete collection of 180 carats diamond jewelries. Herchandelier earrings alone carried 31.58 carats of diamonds
and the rest of itsweight was in platinum.
