I am writing to tell everyone, especially UK buyers, about the fantastic service and Diamonds offered by Diamonds USA. I was extremely sceptical about ordering such an expensive item online, and wrote several emails to confirm exactly who the company was. I also spoke to their sales team on several occasions to help allay any fears I had about buying my engagement ring on the net.
My emails were answered within a few hours and someone was always available on the telephone. I decided to go ahead with the purchase after checking with both Diamonds USA and my credit card company that no funds would be released until 10 days after receipt of the goods. I ordered a 0.93 carat, VS2, colour E Ideal Brilliant cut diamond in a platinum setting for $4927 (£2700). I then waiting anxiously for it to turn up ! I was concerned that I had problems tracking the ring using parcel force, so I sent another email. Abby responded immediately and was on the case. But there was no need as the ring arrived the same day, only 7 days after I ordered it (very good considering I ordered it on 30th December and it was over the New Year hoildays).
I was stunned with the sheer beauty of the diamond, it sparkled brilliantly. My family & friends were amazed that nearly a one carat diamond could cost so little. We had been pricing tham up in the jewellers in the UK and the average price for a one carat, H or I colour stone was over £5000. I have recently got the stone valued at an independant gem appraisers and was gobsmacked when we received the certificate. The ring is worth £7240 in the UK market !
We will definately be using Diamonds USA again (I have my eye on a pair of diamond earrings for a wedding present ). I would not buy diamond jewellery from the overpriced stores in the UK again. I would also like to say that I have never written an email to endorse a company before, but I am so impressed with Diamonds USA I feel that us Brits need to know about you !
