It was by pure fluke that I stumbled across the Diamonds USA web site. The main aim of looking at rings on the internet was purely to get an idea of what sort of thing was out there on the market. In all honesty I never had any intentions of buying a ring over the internet, mainly because of previous problems I have had with buying over the net with other companies.
The prices seemed to be particularly good compared to all the other shops and internet sites I had looked at.
I will admit though until I spoke to the sales person after paying my deposit I still wasn't 100% sure if I was doing the right thing in buying over the net. But Diamonds USA were brilliant and meticulous in every way.
It is also true that they do not charge your card until 10 days after you have received your item of jewellery. Infact in my case I think it was even longer than that, basically because they wanted me to confirm I was completely satisfied with my purchase.
Upon receipt of the ring I had ordered I took it to a highly recommended valuer and he told me it was worth about £350 ($700) more than I had paid for it.
I would definately use Diamonds USA again in the future. Hopefully though I will only do this engagement thing once, too expensive even through Diamonds USA!
To sum them up I would say their sales team are particularly professional, helpful, friendly and polite. The quality of the jewellery is exactly as stated in the site.
The only advice I would give is to read all the information on the stones cut, colour etc. basically to make sure you select a diamond you are going to be fully happy with, even if you are not fully satisfied though you do have ten days to tell them your not pleased. In all honesty you can't go wrong.
If your still not sure go to a jewellers find something you like, get all the stones and rings details and compare the prices, also speak to the sales team before you place your deposit to put your mind toatally at rest, the call is free. I think you will be suprised at how much you can save.
